The New York Branch of The Bank of East Asia ("BEA") was established in 1984 and is located in Manhattan. Federally chartered and FDIC-insured, the Branch offers deposit services, commercial mortgage loans, commercial construction loans, commercial line of credit, asset based finance and trade finance services.

Incorporated in Hong Kong in 1918, The Bank of East Asia, Limited ("BEA") is dedicated to providing comprehensive commercial banking, personal banking, wealth management, and investment services to its customers in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other major markets around the world.
BEA is the largest independent local bank in Hong Kong, with total consolidated assets of HK$754.0 billion (US$97.2 billion) as of 31st December, 2013. The Bank is listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and is one of the constituent stocks of the Hang Seng Index.
The Bank was one of the first foreign banks to receive approval from the China Banking Regulatory Commission to establish a locally incorporated bank in Mainland China. This wholly-owned subsidiary, named The Bank of East Asia (China) Limited, offers a full range of banking and financial services to a broad customer base that includes local residents and businesses.
BEA has also established presence in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Southeast Asia.
